Good Mouse is the fourth character in my “Good” series of handknit toys. The Good Mouse joins the company of Good Bear, Good Bunny, and Good Frog. The Good Mouse is absolutely adorable and quite dapper. The Good Mouse kit and patterns includes instructions for the mouse, a pair of overalls with pockets and a tail hole, a stripey turtleneck sweater, a buttoned-up jacket, and a folded brim hat with ear holes and a tiny pom. The entire Good Mouse set is charming, worthy of a storybook or two.
The Good Mouse Kit is just beautiful. The colors of our Woolens yarn are gorgeous and the perfect match for the project.
We have our custom rustic Heart and Round buttons available as an optional add on to your kit. I highly recommend adding on these handcrafted little wooden buttons we get made from Wooly Moss Roots. They make the entire project sing. We sell out so fast of the buttons every time we include them with our kits, a true highlight.
Included in the Good Mouse Kit:
* Enough of our Woolens yarn to make one mouse and the four articles of clothing. There are color choices. The Snowbound Mouse (creamy white) or the Earthen Mouse (brown) come with the following colorways, Loam (heathered brown and gray), Door County (perfect red), Old Fashioned (dark heathered bronze), and Garland (deep forest green). The Thimble Mouse (light gray) comes with Earthen (brown), Garner (heathered dark gold/green), Beck (medium blue), Door County (perfect red).
* Enough Woolens in Birdie (blush pink) is included to make the pink nose.
* One set of 5mm safety eyes.
* Black crochet cotton for the mouth embroidery.
* The Good Mouse pattern, including both the mouse and the clothes, is included for FREE with the purchase of the kit.
* Heart or Round buttons, a set of three, is an optional add-on.
* The kit comes packed in a printed canvas project bag with an illustrated tag by Susan.
