We have a beautiful hat kit for you today. It’s Caityn Hunter’s Cold Hearts Hat and I’ve knit a bunch of them. With two skeins of our Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted yarn I knit all three sizes offered in the pattern. It is such a fun and pretty knit. Give yourself a little Valentine treat today by ordering one or two of our stunning kits. Honestly, this hat is a beauty. Caitlyn is one of the premier colorwork designers of our times in my opinion. She kindly gave me permission to create kits using her pattern.
We are using the extra-soft Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted Special Edition yarn for one set of the kits with three color choices, and slightly discounted. The other kit is using our Home Worsted yarn. The Home Worsted uses four colorways per kit, you’ll get a half skein of each of the colors. This kit version will not be discounted. Read below for more kit details.
Included in the Cold Hearts Hat Kit:
* Enough yarn to make one (or more) of the Cold Hearts Hat in any of the pattern sizes. There are two kit versions.
Kit #1: Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted - Special Edition (softer and slightly uneven) in the following three kit color choices:
- Hawthorn (dark brown) and Blushing (light pink)
- Rain Shower (light heathered gray) and Sherwood (dark teal)
- Birch (creamy white) and Jam (red)
The colors can be switched around for background and pattern colors, your choice!
Kit #2: Home Worsted in Scout (dark teal), Cheery (dark rosy pink), Field (mustard green), and Stationery (gray and oatmeal mix). The colors can be switched around any way you like. For this version in the sample I used the Short Chart and on rounds 17 and 18 I used three colors for these rounds only. I kept the Cheery going for the point of the heart.
* The kit includes 10 of our BWC ring stitch markers in assorted colors.
* Everything is packed in a printed canvas bag with an illustrated tag by Susan.
