What does Good Tidings actually mean?
Tidings is an old-fashioned word that simply means news and information. Bidding someone “good tidings” wishes them good, positive news and thoughts.
Today we are wishing you all good tidings! We have something very exciting to offer you and you only, our lovely newsletter subscribers. You are getting first dibs on our brand new preorder holiday box offering before we open it up to the general public.
Our Good Tidings Box 2024 by Barrett Wool Co. is a surprise box. You’ll have to trust us, we love every item in the box and think you will, too. We have put a lot of effort into creating a winter-themed cozy knitting experience for you. I hope you'll join us this year.
Here is some general information you need to know.
The Good Tidings Box includes:
❄️︎ 3 new and exclusive kits! All designed by Susan, that's me! I’ve designed some fun and new creations that will have a little something for everyone but remain true to Barrett Wool Co. in every way. It’s not all toys, but a toy design is included.
❄️︎︎ 3 printed pattern booklets to go with each of the three kits. You will also be sent a link for the PDF digital download for each pattern via email after the boxes are shipped.
❄️︎︎ 6 skeins of our custom yarns from our various mills. There is more variety this year in weights of yarn and you will have enough yarn to make all three of your new good tidings kit patterns and have some left over to make more!
❄️︎︎ 6 Good Tidings Treasures, some are original things from Susan, and others are from guests. These are charming items, a few are handcrafted, some give a nod to the past, all are useful and fun.
❄️︎︎ A letter explaining all of the contents of the box.
