Little Giraffe is not only a super-sweet knit toy but it is also a clever new toy construction that I am planning on using a lot in the future. The limbs, horns, and ears are knit first. The body is started at the bottom and then as you work your way up you knit in the appendages as you go! It works out so well, there is absolutely no guesswork for placement and everything is neat and tidy and super-secure. The only seam in the entire toy is to attach the head to the body with a quick whipstitch. It only takes a minute or two to get this done.
The Little Giraffe kit will include:
~ Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted Weight in Birch (creamy white), Bluster (medium blue) and Butter (gold). You will have enough yarn to make one Little Giraffe, Scarf and Cardigan.
~ A pair of 12mm safety eyes with plastic washers.
~ A cut length of our Home Worsted Weight Peppercorn for the nose embroidery.
~ Complementary Ravelry download code for the Little Giraffe + Cardigan Pattern.
~ Optional Artisan Heart or Round buttons. The color will vary with the round buttons.
~ A printed cotton project bag.
