This happy little set of a simple bird with a perfectly sized nest and a trio of tiny eggs is perfect for gifting and for little ones’ imaginative play.
Today we are proudly introducing the individual pattern for the Simple Little Bird & Nest (formerly only in Making Magazine No. 9 / Simple) and restocking our gorgeous kit to go along with it all. The kit includes our Woolens yarn, a woolen spun sport weight, in four gorgeous and subtle colorways. The kit includes enough Woolens to make three birds, three nests and at least nine eggs and black yarn for the eyes.
And, excitingly enough we have another addition to the Simple Little Bird Kits by the one and only Alison Kaplan of Kata Golda! She has created the sweetest little hand-stitched wool felt scissor slips that go along beautifully with the colors in our new kit. The Kit Includes:
- Four skeins of Woolens sport weight in Putty, Beck, Thulian and Garner. This is enough yarn to make three birds, three nests, and nine eggs (three in each color).
- A Ravelry download code for the Simple Little Birds and Nest pattern. This will come on a printed card inside of your kit. Please note: This kit no longer includes a copy of Making No. 9 / SIMPLE.
- A cut length of Inkwell woolen spun for face embroidery.
- Your kit will come packaged in a printed cotton project bag.
