If any of you have followed me for awhile you might know that I have a thing for knitting chickens. Back in the day when I was writing books I would always purposely sneak a chicken or two into the pages. Since then I have continued to design chickens, chicks, and hens on a regular basis. I hope you might share my interest as I am tickled to introduce you to our newest collection from Barrett Wool Co.
Welcome to our new Spring Chickens Collection! The preorder is opening today with FREE worldwide shipping for all collection orders.
The collection is another mystery box. I’ll tell you in general about the designs (all chicken-themed) and a little bit about what to expect but the details will be a surprise.
Included in the Spring Chickens Collection:
* There are three adorable and brand-new exclusive patterns included in the collection. All three projects are toys or home decor.
* Each of the three patterns will come in both a printed booklet and a digital pdf.
* Three kits in one! You will get enough yarn to make all three of the patterns in the collection with extra yarn at the end. One important note about the yarn is that one of the bases is new to us. This base is a super soft tweed with 10% alpaca, 72% merino wool, and 18% nylon (this makes the tweedy part). We are super excited about a tweed yarn! We are also including a 100% wool yarn in the collection
* Any special extras used for completing the projects will be included, things like embroidery cotton and safety eyes for example.
* We have an artist working with us right now on one special and useful extra item.
* The yarn, patterns, and special extras will come in a new custom-designed carrying case. It’s so cute.
* Optional add-in: Three sets of 6-inch double-pointed needles in the sizes that Susan used to create the designs. The brand is KnitPro Zing and the sizes are US 3, US 4 and US 6.
